Mineral hydraulic oil
Recommendations:
Protect the oil circuit with a pressure limiter and a filter
Check the condition of the oil (foreign matter)
Perform regular oil changes
Do not weld on the cylinder
The cylinder must not serve as a mechanical stop
Function:
The normal function of a single-acting telescopic cylinder is to raise a tipping container to gradually discharge the load along its full stroke, in accordance with usage and safety instructions.
A tipping cylinder is a pure lifting device. It cannot provide stability or absorb lateral forces of the vehicle.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DURING TIPPING
Make sure that:
The required tipping pressure is lower than the maximum permissible operating pressure
The vehicle is approved for the type and quantity of the load
The ground is stable and level
The working area is free of people and obstacles (both on the ground and above)
The load is evenly distributed
Tire pressure is correct
The load is discharged gradually
CAUTION with sticky loads (wet soil, silage, etc.)
Strong adhesion in the container can cause the vehicle to tip over.
STRICTLY FORBIDDEN:
Moving the vehicle with the body tilted
Abrupt lifting and lowering of the body
Being under a raised, unsecured body
Continuing tipping when wind causes the vehicle to sway
Failure to comply with these safety measures can result in excessive pressure and impermissible lateral forces on the cylinder. This can cause serious damage and endanger the user.
