Hydraulic Top Links
A hydraulic top link lets you adjust the upper connection of your tractor's three-point linkage using the tractor hydraulics. This allows you to change the implement's angle from the tractor seat. Choose your top link by category, mounting dimensions, retracted and extended length, cylinder bore and piston rod diameter. Check both ends and compare the technical drawing with your tractor and implement. Category or tractor brand alone does not establish compatibility.

Which dimensions should you compare?
A suitable hydraulic top link must match both the mounting points and the required adjustment range. Check these points before ordering:
- Category and mounting dimensions: compare the pin size and the width or clearance available at both ends.
- Retracted and extended length: check the measurement points on the technical drawing and compare the full range with your application. Stroke alone is not enough.
- Cylinder bore and piston rod diameter: also check the size combination, such as 50/30. This denotes a 50 mm cylinder bore and a 30 mm piston rod. These are different dimensions from the cylinder's outside diameter or the mounting pin.
- End fitting: choose a standard version, hook, or hook with clevis end that matches your mounting points.
- Hydraulic controls and connections: check the required controls, hose length and couplings on the product page and on your tractor.
Standard, hook or clevis end?
The difference is in the top link's end fittings. A standard version has eye ends; a version with a hook uses a hook connection at one end. A version with a hook and clevis end has different fittings at its two ends.
Compare the shape, dimensions and available clearance with the existing mounting. Matching categories do not mean every configuration is directly interchangeable.
Top links with locking block and hoses
The range includes versions with a locking block and hydraulic hoses. A hydraulically operated locking block helps hold the cylinder in the set position. Check each product to see which configuration and components are supplied.
Also compare the connection and profile of the quick couplings. The same nominal connection size alone does not confirm that two couplings will fit together.

Will a hydraulic top link fit any tractor brand?
Compatibility depends on the three-point linkage, mounting dimensions, required length and hydraulic connections. Choose according to the configuration and technical drawing, rather than tractor brand alone.
How do I measure the top link length I need?
Compare the required retracted and extended lengths with the drawing for your chosen product. Use the same measurement points as the drawing. Allow for clearance around the end fittings; comparing only the overall outside length or stroke is not enough.
Are hoses and quick couplings included?
This depends on the product. Check the supplied components, hose length and coupling configuration on the product page. This shows what is included and what else you may need.
Which hydraulic controls does my tractor need?
Check which hydraulic controls your chosen top link requires and whether your tractor is equipped for them. Compare the connections and stated operating data too. If in doubt, have the connection assessed before ordering.
