Description

A double pilot-operated check valve for double-acting hydraulic cylinders, with four 12L male connections (M18 × 1.5). The drawing shows two connections on top and one on each side.

Check all four connections: V1, V2, C1 and C2 all have 12L male connections with M18 × 1.5 thread. Use matching 12L female fittings and check the sealing arrangement; matching thread size alone is not enough.

How the pilot-operated check valves work

The block contains two pilot-operated check valves. Oil can flow from the supply to the cylinder. Return flow from the cylinder is blocked until pilot pressure opens the relevant check valve. This allows both sides of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder to be locked.

This is a locking function. The valve does not independently control the lowering speed of a load. Check that its operation and connection diagram suit your hydraulic system.

Connections and installation

Connect the supply lines to V1 and V2 and the cylinder lines to C1 and C2, following the hydraulic diagram. Before installation, check connection sizes, available space, system pressure and required oil flow. Depressurise the system and keep lines and connections clean.
