Description

This hydraulic 6-way diverter valve switches two hydraulic lines between two pairs of ports. Operate two hydraulic functions alternately using the hand lever. Choose 3/8″ BSP for a maximum flow of 35 l/min or 1/2″ BSP for 50 l/min. Both versions have a steel body and a maximum pressure of 350 bar.

How the 6-way diverter valve works

The lever selects which pair of ports connects to the two common lines. This lets you choose between two hydraulic actuators, such as two double-acting cylinders. The functions operate alternately; the valve does not divide the flow between both actuators simultaneously.

Applications include agricultural machinery, crane hydraulics and lifting equipment. Check your system’s hydraulic circuit diagram before selecting or connecting the valve.

Connections and system compatibility

In addition to thread size and flow, check the switching function and the clearance for the lever. The drawings show both open-center and closed-center arrangements. They do not confirm which center arrangement is supplied; have this confirmed before ordering if the center condition is critical to your system.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between SPH390153 and SPH390152?

SPH390153 has G3/8″ ports, a maximum flow of 35 l/min and a more compact body. SPH390152 has G1/2″ ports and a maximum flow of 50 l/min. Both have a maximum pressure of 350 bar.

Can both hydraulic functions operate at the same time?

No. The lever selects the active pair of ports. This is a diverter valve for alternate operation of two functions, not a flow divider for simultaneous operation.
