Description

This round weld-on spherical bearing eye is designed for constructing, repairing and adapting hydraulic cylinders. Its round welding connection is used where a pivoting joint is required at the piston rod end or at a suitably designed cylinder mounting point. The spherical bearing accommodates angular movement between the cylinder and its attachment.

Where is it used?

Common applications include piston-rod end connections on hydraulic cylinders for agricultural machinery, tipping and lifting equipment, construction machinery and industrial hydraulic assemblies. It can also be used in replacement or custom cylinder fabrication when the dimensions and expected loads are suitable.

Choosing the correct size

Choose the bearing bore diameter: Ø20, Ø25, Ø30, Ø35, Ø40 or Ø50 mm. Check the technical drawings in the product images for the complete dimensions, weld connection geometry and installation clearance. Bore diameter alone does not confirm compatibility.

Installation & maintenance

Check the alignment and weld preparation for your cylinder design. Protect the spherical bearing and grease nipple from welding heat and spatter. Lubricate through the fitted grease nipple as appropriate for operating conditions.
