Description

This hydraulic quick coupling with 1/2" BSP female thread and a poppet valve is available as a male plug, female socket or complete set. It is intended for hydraulic hoses on tractors and agricultural machinery. Compare the coupling profile, body size and connection with your existing system.

Every version includes matching blue dust protection.

The male plug has a 1/2" body size (BG3) and a probe diameter of 20.6 mm. This is not the BSP thread diameter. Check the complete coupling profile and connection before ordering.
Coupling profile: ISO 7241-A / ISO 5675. When combining with an existing coupling, check the profile, body size and connection. A 1/2" threaded port alone does not establish compatibility.

Poppet valve and locking balls

The poppet valve shuts off the fluid passage. The locking balls in the female socket hold the plug in place and have a different function. Visible locking balls do not mean that the coupling uses a ball valve.

Connection and installation

Male and female describe the coupling side. Both halves have 1/2" BSP female thread at the connection end.

Check the mating connection, sealing arrangement and available installation space. Depressurise the hydraulic system before loosening connections and follow the tractor manufacturer's installation instructions.
