MF240 1986 fitment note

The source specifically notes that this rear remote kit may not fit flush on a 1986 Massey Ferguson 240. A minor handbrake modification may be required. This exception must be considered before ordering and overrides any general easy-installation or direct-fit wording for that configuration.

The reference numbers 180908M1 and 1860100M95 support the corresponding replacement application, but compatibility remains product- and tractor-specific. Always compare the existing lift cover, hydraulic arrangement and connections before installation.

Installation and use

The kit mounts on the lift cover under the seat and is operated manually by lever. It can be used to add an auxiliary hydraulic function for compatible cylinders and hydraulic implements. Because the valve has no float position, applications requiring float control need a different valve configuration.
