Description

These forged C40 steel weld-on spherical rod ends (ball joint eyes) are designed for suitable hydraulic cylinder connections, hydraulic top links and mechanical top links. The spherical joint allows limited angular movement at the mounting pin and can be used on agricultural equipment and industrial machinery.

  • Forged C40 steel joint eye with a weld-on connection.
  • Spherical ball joint for an articulated pin connection.
  • For hydraulic cylinder manufacture and repair, and compatible hydraulic or mechanical top links.
  • Choose Cat 1 or Cat 2 according to pin size and mounting dimensions.

Before ordering or welding: Compare the pin bore, ball width, outer dimensions and welding section with the SPH technical drawings in the image gallery. Use a welding procedure suitable for C40 steel and protect the spherical joint from excessive heat. Category alone does not guarantee fit.

FAQ

Is this a loose top link ball?

No. This is a weld-on eye with a ball joint. The construction side is welded; the pin connection passes through the ball.

How do Cat 1 and Cat 2 differ?

The pin bores are Ø19.3 mm and Ø25.5 mm respectively. The other mounting dimensions also differ; compare both tables and drawings.
