Description

Upgrade your classic Fiat tractor with hydraulic power steering and reduce the effort needed at the steering wheel. SPH360041 is intended for Fiat 450, 480, 500 and 540 Classic tractors and also fits selected White Oliver models.

Standard compatibility: Fiat 450, 480, 500 and 540 Classic; White Oliver 1255, 1265, 1270 and 2-50.
Complete kit: this power steering set is supplied as a complete conversion kit for the standard applications listed above. Product-specific conditions such as Fiat 540 DT or a front loader can still require installation work or adjustments.

Compatibility and application

This power steering kit is intended for the Fiat and White Oliver models listed above. Fiat remains the primary application; White Oliver compatibility is additional.

Fiat 540 DT installation requirement

For Fiat 540 DT, all parts in the kit fit except the tie-rod ends. The original tie-rod ends must be welded onto the set.

Front loader installation note

If the tractor is equipped with a front loader, installation adjustments may be necessary depending on the tractor configuration.

Why add hydraulic steering assistance?

On older tractors with mechanical steering, hydraulic steering assistance can reduce steering effort and make low-speed manoeuvring more comfortable.
