Description

Upgrade a Fiat 600 or Fiat 640 with manual steering to hydraulic power assistance and reduce the effort needed at the steering wheel. SPH360044 is intended specifically for tractors with manual steering.

Standard compatibility: Fiat 600 and 640 with manual steering.
Complete kit: this power steering set is supplied as a complete conversion kit for the standard applications listed above. A tractor with a front loader can still require installation adjustments.

Manual-steering conversion only

SPH360044 is designed to add hydraulic steering assistance to a tractor with manual steering. It is not intended as a replacement for a factory or original power-steering system.

Front loader installation note

If the tractor is equipped with a front loader, installation adjustments may be necessary depending on the tractor configuration.

Why add hydraulic steering assistance?

On older tractors with mechanical steering, hydraulic steering assistance can reduce steering effort and make low-speed manoeuvring more comfortable.
