Description

This plastic dust cover has a hinged, spring-loaded lid and is intended for a matching female hydraulic coupler. It helps protect the disconnected opening from dust and dirt. SPH391014 is yellow; four other colours are available.

The size 1/2" BG3 refers to the coupling body, not a BSP or NPT thread. Check the coupling profile, shape and fit before ordering.

Check the outside shape of the female coupler and the space available for the cover.

Hinged spring-loaded lid

The spring mechanism belongs to the lid. It is not the hydraulic coupling lock or a pressure seal.

Compatibility and use

Specified for matching 1/2" BG3 couplings with ISO 5675 or ISO 7241-A profiles. Check the actual coupling dimensions and shape: a 1/2" thread alone does not establish compatibility. Suitable applications include matching connections on tractors, loaders and agricultural machinery.

Use and care

Keep the dust protection and mating surfaces clean. Check for damage and correct fit without forcing parts. Dust protection is not a pressure-rated closure. On the hinged version, ensure that the lid can move freely.
