Description

This 3/8″ pilot-operated check valve with mounting kit is intended for compatible hydraulic top links and other double-acting cylinders. The valve block prevents oil returning from the cylinder until pilot pressure opens the relevant check valve.

The kit is suitable for compatible hydraulic top links, lift cylinders, adjustment cylinders and agricultural implements where cylinder drift or unintended movement needs to be limited. The supplied fittings support installation in suitable double-acting hydraulic systems.

How does a pilot-operated check valve work?

The block contains two pilot-operated check valves. Oil can flow from the supply to the cylinder. Return flow from the cylinder is blocked until pilot pressure opens the relevant check valve. Both sides of a double-acting cylinder can therefore be locked.

This is a locking function: the valve does not independently control the lowering speed of a load. Check that the hydraulic circuit and available installation space suit your application.

This 3/8″ pilot-operated check valve is used with suitable hydraulic cylinders on agricultural machinery. Applications include hydraulic top links, lift and adjustment cylinders, front loader functions and implements where drift or unwanted cylinder movement needs to be limited.
