Description

This Cat 1 hydraulic top link replaces the mechanical top link on your tractor. Adjust its length using the tractor hydraulics to change the implement's working angle from the tractor seat. It has a 490–700 mm length range, 210 mm stroke and 50/30 mm cylinder bore/piston rod. Supplied with 2 hoses with quick couplings, 2 banjo bolts and 4 sealing washers.

Mounting holes: Ø19.2 mm; end widths: 44 mm and 44 mm.

What is included?

  • 1 × hydraulic top link with hydraulic locking block
  • 2 × hydraulic hoses with quick couplings
  • 2 × banjo bolts
  • 4 × sealing washers for the banjo connections

The hydraulic locking block is the valve block on top of the cylinder. Check that the quick couplings match your tractor and that the hoses have sufficient clearance throughout movement.

Will this version fit your tractor?

Both ends have ball joints for a suitable Cat 1 three-point linkage. A double-acting hydraulic connection is required to extend and retract the cylinder. The 50/30 designation means a 50 mm cylinder bore and a 30 mm piston rod, not the mounting-hole diameter.

Checks before installation

  1. Compare the required retracted and extended lengths with 490–700 mm.
  2. Check both mounting pins, hole diameters, joint widths and available clearance.
  3. Check double-acting control and tractor quick couplings. G3/8″ is the cylinder port size, not the tractor quick-coupling specification.
  4. Route the hoses without kinks, tension or contact with moving parts.

Does it fit every Cat 1 tractor?

No. Check the length range, both mounting points, available clearance and hydraulic connections.

How do I measure the required top-link length?

Measure between the centres of the two mounting holes. Check the shortest and longest lengths needed by your tractor and implement, then compare them with 490–700 mm. Do not measure only the cylinder barrel.

Is the 210 mm stroke the same as the overall length?

No. Stroke is the cylinder's travel. The retracted length is 490 mm and the extended length 700 mm, measured between the indicated mounting points.
