Description

This flat-base weld-on spherical bearing eye is intended for hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and repair, particularly where a welded pivoting connection is needed at the cylinder base or rear mounting end. The flat / rectangular welding surface offers a practical mounting geometry for compatible cylinder designs.

Where is it used?

Typical applications include base-end mounting of hydraulic cylinders used in agricultural equipment, tipping mechanisms, lifting systems, construction equipment and industrial hydraulic machinery. The spherical bearing allows angular movement at the pivot, helping the connection follow the intended cylinder movement when correctly aligned and installed.

Choosing the correct size

Choose the bearing bore diameter: Ø20, Ø25, Ø30, Ø35, Ø40 or Ø50 mm. Check the technical drawings in the product images for the complete dimensions, weld connection geometry and installation clearance. Bore diameter alone does not confirm compatibility.

Installation & maintenance

Check the alignment and weld preparation for your cylinder design. Protect the spherical bearing and grease nipple from welding heat and spatter. Lubricate through the fitted grease nipple as appropriate for operating conditions.
