Description

This set contains 4 complete pairs of 1/2" NPT hydraulic quick couplings: 4 female couplers and 4 male plugs, with PVC dust protection. SPH390126 uses a Pioneer-type profile and self-closing poppet valves for hydraulic connections on agricultural, construction and forestry machinery.

Each pair consists of one coupler and one plug. The 1/2" body size and 1/2" NPT thread describe different features. Check both the coupling profile and the thread. NPT is not the same as BSP.

Applications and compatibility

For matching hydraulic connections on tractors, implements, construction and forestry equipment. The Pioneer-type profile is specified as interchangeable with ISO 5675 couplings with a 1/2" body. Also compare valve type, pressure rating, flow rate and thread before replacement.

Installation and dust protection

Check the NPT connection and follow the installation instructions for your hydraulic system. Keep mating surfaces clean. Fit the supplied dust plugs and caps after disconnecting to protect the open connections from dirt.

Frequently asked questions

Does 4 sets mean 4 individual coupling halves?

No. You receive 4 couplers and 4 plugs: 8 metal coupling halves, plus 4 dust plugs and 4 dust caps.

Does 1/2" NPT fit 1/2" BSP?

No. NPT and BSP are different thread types. Check the connection on your hose, pipe or valve block before ordering.

What do the poppet valves do?

The poppet valves close when the coupler and plug are disconnected. They do not replace dust protection; use the supplied plugs and caps.

Is burst pressure the maximum working pressure?

No. The specified pressure rating is 3600 PSI. The 23 000 PSI coupled burst pressure is a separate value and must not be used as working pressure.
